UBC Bookstore
As the largest academic bookstore in Western Canada, the UBC Bookstore carries a variety of materials for UBC's academic community along with the community at large including:
- books
- magazines
- stationery
- art supplies
- sportswear
- giftware
General interest books and specialty products such as UBC sportswear and giftware are available online through the UBC Bookstore's secured e-commerce site.
The UBC Bookstore Computer Department provides an outstanding array of computer Hardware, Software, Printers, and Accessories all academically priced (i.e. lower than retail!). The UBC Bookstore Computer Department is also an Authorized Reseller for Apple with a wide selection of hardware and accessories.
Proceeds support student services, facilities, programming and research.
Museum of Anthropology - The Museum Shop
The Museum of Anthropology's elegant Shop features a fine selection of original Northwest Coast gold and silver jewellery, masks, carvings, baskets, and limited edition prints, as well as books on art, anthropology, and the Northwest Coast.
The Shop also carries its own line of giftware designed by Northwest Coast artists:
- Lyle Wilson (Haisla)
- Susan Point (Coast Salish)
- Vernon Brown (Blackfish Clan, Kitkatla, BC), and
- Shawn Hunt (Heiltsuk).
Museum members receive 15% savings on all purchases, and staff are always pleased to assist with conference, corporate, or wedding gifts. Shop proceeds support Museum acquisitions, publications, and public programs.

Botanical Garden - The Shop in the Garden and Plant Centre
Nestled at the entrance to the UBC Botanical Garden, the Shop in the Garden and Plant Centre features unique treasures for gardeners of any experience. The Shop in the Garden showcases:
- a diverse selection of gardening and botanical books
- handy garden accessories and tools
- distinctive gifts
- dried flower arrangements
The Plant Centre offers seasonal choice selections of perennials, shrubs and vines for the garden and patio.
All members of the University of British Columbia Botanical Garden receive a 10% discount at the Shop in the Garden.
The Shop in the Garden and Plant Centre is operated by the garden's volunteers, the Friends of the Garden. All proceeds from the Shop in the Garden and 100% of the purchase price of the seeds fund research, education, and garden improvements at the UBC Botanical Garden.
